Paul Barnett is only 54 years old. After a fall in his home left him completely paralyzed, he spent months in the hospital, followed by an acute rehab center.
“My son researched sub-acute rehab centers that specialize in traumatic brain injuries, and we decided on CenterLight Health System's Rehabilitation Center."
“During my first session, I walked 40 feet. The second session, I made it 80 feet.” The achievements and the improvement continue, thanks to Paul’s dogged determination and a supportive rehab staff.
“All the therapists in the rehab center have taken an interest in me, and always cheer me on. I still have a way to go, but I know I’ll get there. And when I do, I want to volunteer at a rehab center so I can give back by motivating others to keep plugging away.”
