Conga legend Candido Camero, renowned jazz instrumentalist and composer David Amram and multi-Grammy nominated percussionist Bobby Sanabria performed a special concert on December 2nd benefiting the Institute for Music and Neurologic Function's (IMNF) Music Therapy program at Schnurmacher. The concert took place at the Conservatory of Music at Purchase College SUNY, and also featured New York-based reggae/hip-hop band Shem's Disciples, led by Marlon Sobol, manager of the IMNF at Schnurmacher. The concert was part of a broader collaboration between the IMNF and Purchase College, SUNY.
Comprehensive Care Management (CCM), a member of the Beth Abraham Family of Health Services, recently celebrated the opening of its Rockaway Parkway site, their 18th Program of All-Inclusive Care for the Elderly (PACE) center in the NY metro area and the first in Brooklyn.
CNR Adult Day Health Care (ADHC) Program, a member of the Beth Abraham Family of Health Services (BAFHS), recently held a Mini Walk in support of the New York Alzheimer’s Association’s efforts to find a cure for Alzheimer’s Disease. The team, who called themselves CNR ADHC Steppers, raised more than $1,500 for the cause.
